From women rights to female values

This morning when I woke up I saw a short movie about female polititians. Do you know what Nepal, Namibia, Taiwan and Estonia have in common? They all have female Prime Ministers or Presidents. Did you expect this fact, to be honest, I didn't and I m proud. Knowing this, there's no doubt for me anymore. We can all support this Change by being courageous and spreading our believes and convictions. I'm not talking as a woman I m talking primarily as part of our society. I would like to share my point of view because I keep making the same observation every day: Determination, power thinking, materialism were important features that made the world grow and people strong, but we reached the peak of these values… Meaning this qualities are about to divide and destroy the world again. I m convinced that this is the sign that it is time for more female power.

Don't get me wrong. I m not a active supporter of enhancing women quota in politics or economy. I think in the western world we are still not where we should be, but woman have good opportunities to get into leading positions. It's a hard and exhausting way to go, but it's not impossible. What I m asking myself though is: Can't it be easier, what's needed to make more woman represent their values? What I would like to point out first is, that I don’t think it’s a question of gender. This change was made a few years ago. Thanks to strong and courageous women that fought for woman's rights. Today we are facing the next step on the roadmap to worldwide equality. (Not just equality between men and women) The question of values. We all talk about female and male qualities. And it's proven that these expressions are justified due to evolutional reasons. If you want to be successful as a woman these days you need to use male qualities, like competitive, disciplined, willing to take risks, because society learnt that these are values that lead to success. I'm not saying this isn't true. We have enough examples that prove this. But I say we can be as successful with using other skills and values. Especially these days show us that male features are kind of exhausted. We need to add new mentalities to reach long-term improvements. So, let's look at what happens today. A lot of woman struggle to reach leading positions because their effort and added value is not seen. I don’t think it's mainly because they are women but because they have to put energy in developing features that don’t root and fit to their inner believes. When a woman wants to get heard she needs to grab "tools" that are seen as successful even though she doensn't believe it. Can this strategy really work? Maybe short-term. Everytime they do it, they sell something that they don’t believe in. And im convinced that these strategies are doomed to fail. So, due to that, women's values are not spread and will and can never be seen as successful qualities. But they are! I m convinced that if woman would get the chance to support and lead society with their inner values, we would have a lot more successful and powerful woman in leading positions AND, and this is the point I want to highlight, the world would be more balanced too. So it's us, society, to make a Change. We need to find a way how we can COMBINE both values. Therefore my appeal to all men: be open and patient to support genuine female qualities and woman: be courageous and spread YOUR values, such as

- Empathy

- Selfreflection & Flexibility

- Community

- Longterm thinking

- Communication

- Emotions Last but not least, dear society: Let's trust female qualities and make the world, change, rebalance and grow again. Please don't hesitate to share any other value that you think the world needs these days!
